What is "Shueitai"?
Shueitai is the original typeface that DNP has been developing since the Meiji era. Not only editors and designers, readers are familiar with it, as it has beautiful and supple line drawings and is used in many books and dictionaries as a beautiful and easy-to-read typeface. Since 2006, we have been engaged in the renewal business of "Shueitai", "Heisei no Daikaku", and since 2009, it has been used not only in the DTP (Desk Top Publishing) environment but also in e-book viewers and word processing software.
About the annual flat-rate font service "LETS"
It is an annual flat-rate font service that Fontworks started in Japan for the first time in 2002. We responded to modern needs such as high-quality and wide variety of Japanese fonts such as the flagship "Tsukushi typeface" series, a rich lineup of Western letters, traditional characters/simplified characters, Hangul, and a clear and secure license range. Due to the development of services, it is widely used not only in printing and publishing, but also in digital fields such as Video production in movies and broadcasting, e-books, games, and applications.
