Fontworks Inc. will co-sponsor the letterpress printing festival "Letterpress TOKYO 2019" to be held from August 30th to September 1st, 2019.
What is letterpress TOKYO?
Event that started in 2015 with the desire to re-illuminate the traditional technology of letterpress printing and to let people of all ages know the appeal of letterpress printing. As a place where people who are interested in printing and paper, such as plate makers and designers, can meet directly and experience the charm of letterpress printing more closely, this time, which is the 5th time, 40 Markets by more than one artist and workshop, workshops where you can experience letterpress printing, exhibitions and talk shows will be held.

About sponsorship
Fontworks will exhibit at the booth and hold a workshop where you can create a Fonts card using a manual letterpress printing machine (Tekin). We will also exhibit the character panel of Tsukushi typeface.
Also, on the final day, 9/1 (Sun), a talk session will be held between Type Designers
