On the other hand, depending on the medium or low capacity embedded device, there are severe restrictions on the resources that can be installed. Therefore, there is also the problem that the installed fonts must be limited to low-capacity fonts.
In response to the demands and issues of fonts installed in today's embedded devices, Fontworks has developed lightweight fonts that are beautiful and have a low capacity. We offer round Gothic type after Square Gothic type.

As built-in fonts for low-capacity devices, we offer two types of lightweight fonts that can be selected depending on the application and the environment of the embedded device.
The first is the lightweight font "Type-S," which has a font capacity that is about half that of the basic outline font.
The base font was highly rated as Universal Design (universal design) for "visibility" and "readability"." UD Marugo_Large "Was adopted, and was particular about the legibility and beauty of the character design. Although the font capacity has been reduced, it is as beautiful as the base font.
Since "Type-S" is provided in TrueType format, there is no need for a font engine to display, and scalable and beautiful display is possible regardless of the drawing area of the device. You can easily unify the character design on multiple devices such as "wearable devices" and "smartphone apps" that work together with them.
