Monotype LETS members under contract for <New LETS> can use the fonts immediately by simply activating the fonts.
Design inspired by the sculptural elements of Avenir® Next
Shorai Sans is a Japanese sans serif typeface designed by incorporating the formative elements of Monotype's European font Avenir Next. Adopted Avenir Next for attached European text. The size and baseline position have been adjusted to match the Japanese text, allowing Shorai Sans alone to achieve well-balanced Japanese-European mixed planting.
Even lines that are geometric and yet feel the warmth of handwriting
Shorai Sans features uniform and simple lines. Arrange the lines as much as possible and simplify the skeleton as much as possible. We aimed for a clean, easy-to-read format. In addition, while being geometric, you can also feel the warmth of handwriting.
Shorai Sans has a geometric impression, but it does not feel cold with subtle curves.
10 weights from ultra-Heavy to ultra-thin with Weight exceeding the limit
There are 10 types of weights, ranging from ultra-Heavy to ultra-thin. With the thickest weight, Heavy boldly organizes complex contours to Weight to match the Avenir Next Heavy.
It is also possible to adjust the Weight between weights
By using variable fonts * in addition to normal single weights, it is possible to adjust the Weight between weights and express characters that move on the screen, such as websites and Video.
