Typeface introduction "PalRamune"
Created by Akiko Ochi, a Type Designers at Fontworks.
This year marks the 5th anniversary of its release in 2017, and it has become one of Fontworks' representative typefaces.
It is a typeface that exudes innocent loveliness in a loose atmosphere, and the unevenness of different sizes for kanji and kana creates a rhythmic expression when the letters are composed. It features a lightly bouncing ten and harai, and makes the title and catchphrase lively.
Usage
It has become a typeface that is loved by many people and is used in a wide range of fields such as television, books, and food Packaging.
Akiko Ochi Profile
Graduated from the Department of Design, College of Art, Nihon University. Joined Fontworks Inc., Ltd. in 2012.
While learning the basics of typeface production on a daily basis, he is in charge of designing catchy and pop styles.
In 2017, the first typeface "PalRamune" was released, and in 2019, the second typeface in the Pal series, "PalRetron" was released. Currently developing PAL series such as "Parumoko".
