Fontworks Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Ai Harada, hereinafter referred to as Fontworks) will be hosting a special event in Bangkok, Thailand from Thursday, November 2nd to Saturday, November 4th, 2023, where Type Designers Shunya Morita will be a speaker at BITS 10, Southeast Asia's only typography and type design conference.

What is BITS?

This year marks the 10th BITS event, and it will be the first to be held in person since the COVID-19 pandemic.
Type Designers active in neighboring countries in Southeast Asia and Far East Asia will come together to share the latest trends in typefaces and branding in Asian countries through seminars and workshops.
This year’s conference is a collaboration between high-profile Thai typeface manufacturer Cadson Dema and CommMA’s cutting-edge Southeast Asian typography research and survey program at Chulalongkorn University, Thailand’s longest-established national university.

Representing Fontworks, the speaker will be typeface Type Designers Shunya Morita, who worked with typeface design director Shigenobu Fujita on the corporate font "LINE Seed JP" for LINE Yahoo Japan Corporation.
