Fontworks Inc. added four new weights to the popular typeface "Tsukushi Old Gothic "on Thursday, September 5, 2024.
"Tsukushi Old Gothic" 4 new weights added
"Tsukushi Old Gothic" is a completely new typeface designed in 2014 by Fontworks type design director Shigenobu Fujita, while imagining a Gothic font that seems to have existed in the metal type era.
The tight bosom of kanji and kana, the stretchy edges, and the rich inflection that makes you feel the remnants of the brush speak the words with dignity.
The four new weights that will be added this time are "R (regular) / M (medium) / D (demi-bold) / E (extra bold)". In total, it became a family of 6 weights.
The weights added this time are easy to use for Text and expand the range of expression.
* Weight refers to the Weight of the font. In the case of Tsukushi Old Gothic, the existing typeface "UL (Ultralight)" is the thinnest, and the newly added "E" is the thickest font.
Tsukushi Old Gothic R (Regular)
Tsukushi Old Gothic M (Medium)
Tsukushi Old Gothic D (Demibold)
Tsukushi Old Gothic E (Extra Bold)
