Creating catchy design typefaces and Handwriting typefaces

A serial project called “Type Designers Roundtable” where designers involved in typeface production at Fontworks talk about their daily efforts and thoughts.
Appearing in the third installment are Akiko Ochi, creator of the popular design typefaces PalRamune and PalRetron, and Kanae Yamamura, who is working on the development of calligraphy, including the kana of New Greco.

In the first part, we asked two people working on typefaces in completely different directions, catchy design typefaces and Handwriting typefaces, to talk in detail about the typefaces they are currently working on.
