About fonts

As a full-fledged Mincho typeface for long-form Text, this typeface follows the essence of the typographic and transcription era and gives maximum consideration to what a Mincho typeface should be. It has a unique atmosphere in offset printing as well, as if you can see a pool of ink like a typeface.
It is distinct from the Mincho typeface, which has a wide range of kanji and kana characters, and retains the "strength and weakness of the space inherent in the characters themselves" and the "elongation of the line quality". When the characters are assembled, they create a rhythmical and pleasant readability.

The weights LB and RB are typefaces with thickened horizontal strokes as well as vertical strokes of the relatively thin weights of "Tsukushi Mincho". It is not just a bold typeface for weights, but represents a "black type" that looks the same Weight as the equivalent weight when printed in white on a black background (ground pattern). This is one solution to the problem of using white mincho type on multicolor offset printing, where simply making the weights thicker could not handle the blurring of horizontal strokes. When used on a white background, the gray density of the paper becomes darker, creating the effect of a finish with more ink on the typeface.
