<Event summary >

Keinosuke Sato is a founding member of the Japan Typography Association, has been involved in typography education at Kuwasawa Design School and Musashino Art University, and is also the teacher of Katsumi Asaba, the current director of Kuwasawa.
The Japan Typography Association has also established an award bearing the name of Mr. Sato, and Mr. Asaba is also the first in his career, "Keinosuke Sato", but not only students and young designers, but also mid-career designers Takayuki Sato What did Mr. Suke bring about in Japanese typography? Few people know about its achievements.
I would like to reconsider Mr. Keinosuke Sato when Mr. Hiroshi Komiyama, who has been active as the successor to Mr. Keinosuke, can close the "Sato Typography Research Institute" this year.
Even if he is not a direct successor, he seems to have been greatly influenced by the typeface designer who is currently active in the line, and the art director who appeared as a character user, brought about by Keinosuke Sato, and beyond. I would like to consider the future typography that follows.
