What is "Create UOZU Project"?
This is a game creator training and support project to be implemented as a new industrial strategy of Uozu City, which was established with the hope that "young people and generations with a good working life can do their favorite jobs."
Sponsored by an executive committee of industry, academia and government at "Uozu City Hall", "Uozu Chamber of Commerce" which is a group of companies that support local industries, and "Hokuriku Vocational Ability Development College" which is a local manufacturing college.・ Operated.
In addition to the local youth business organization “Uozu Chamber of Commerce and Industry, youth group”, “supporters” by general volunteers also support and back up this project.
Uozu City is in a situation where it is difficult to attract large-scale companies due to the geographical distance that the distance from the coast to the mountains is short and there are few vast industrial sites. The city's major challenge is that the population is declining, especially among young people who are moving out of the prefecture to work.
Therefore, it is a project to develop human resources, attract companies, and support start-ups, focusing on the “game industry”, which can be deployed on small lands far from the metropolitan area and is of great interest from a wide range of generations.
