Japanese web fonts that have begun to be used as a matter of course. From the viewpoint of accessibility and UI / UX, it has become an indispensable requirement to consider the introduction of web fonts when renewing the site. We will explain the reasons for introducing web fonts and the effects of introducing them while introducing the actual projects of major companies. In addition, we will answer questions on the production site such as "How to persuade the client?", "What are the advantages and disadvantages?", "What fonts are popular?"

・ Session 3: The past and future of Tsukushi typeface / Shigenobu Fujita
I will talk about the background and background of the typeface production of Chikushi Vintage Mincho, which was released in August this year (2018), and Tsukushi Antique Maru Gothic, which is about to be released next year. In addition, we will explain the secret stories and hardships of 1999 when the production of Tsukushi Mincho was started, the transition of the Chikushi typeface series that has been developing abundant variations since then, and the commitment to curvaceous beauty.
Furthermore, Tsukushi AM Gothic and Tsukushi Regular Script, which are under development in response to the demand for Gothic that suits Futura? Chikushi Song Dynasty?
