Fonts book is a very convenient booklet for people who handle a wide range of characters such as designs and documents.
There are examples of how the appearance changes depending on the combination and size of kanji and hiragana/katakana for each font, so you can compare several fonts with flip-flops and select the font that suits what you want to make, or what you want to make from now on. You can inflate the image.
Fontworks also produces a Fonts book every year, and it has been well received not only for its substantial content but also for its particular binding. Even the latest version, the 2020 edition, has been enriched so that you can enjoy "encounter with the typeface".
Features of 2020 edition of Fontworks Fonts
This year's Fonts book is a bit different from the Fonts book that organizes the information you want to find like the product catalog.
The discovery of new typefaces, the rediscovery of values in a different way from the historical background of typefaces, and other unexpected encounters await.
Includes Fonts pages for each typeface series of Fontworks, a separate door as a sample collection using different paper from other pages, a list of compatible formats such as OpenType and TrueType. In addition, some new typefaces that will be provided in FY2020 are also posted.
Discerning codex equipment
It is a temporary bookbinding style in which you can see the back that is spelled with threads. As a feature, the book opens so well that it opens up to the throat, so it uses a highly functional codex device that can be kept open without pressing it with your hands.
