In addition, along with this specification change, the IVS (variant character sequence) of the variant character switching technology that is already supported by Pr5 specification / Pr6 specification OpenType font is also supported by Pro specification OpenType font (ProN / Pro). It was.
It will be provided only in <New LETS>, which started service in February 2021, and 18 of the 24 Pro specifications will be changed.
Pro-specification OpenType fonts (Adobe-Japan 1-4 compliant) correspond to Character Sets It is compatible with IVS (variant character sequence) of the variant character switching technology, and by using an OS compatible with IVS and an application (*) in combination, it is possible to switch variant characters with the variant character selector.
In addition, there are two types of this product, JIS2004 character ProN font and JIS90 character Pro font, so select the typeface according to the application.
