We have released a new logo design and motion graphics for the experimental virtual city "MOJICITY", which "creates a world where you can freely enjoy your own fonts".
Logo development background
MOJICITY was released in January 2022 as a user-participation service so that many people can feel familiar with and enjoy "characters and fonts". As a base for "town development = service development" with users, you can touch not only completed App but also App under development (beta version).
A place that accepts change and has the attitude of quickly disseminating what has been developed. In order to express the experimental room and elements of such MOJICITY, we have formulated a new logo.
About the logo
The logo mark expresses the scenery looking up at the buildings in the city with the motif of the buildings in MOJICITY. By making it simple based on the "M" of MOJI, we have created a design that allows you to feel the diversity and innovation of MOJICITY regardless of who uses it.
In the city, technology, knowledge, and various people come and go. MOJICITY also expresses that it is a city that expands with new value.

Since the logo mark is a building motif, I wanted to create a logo that depicts the process of building this building.
The “moving logo” that is played in a loop expresses MOJICITY’s desire to “continue to do interesting things over and over again”.

A city is nothing to do with perfection.

The city is an unfinished thing that continues to change forever.
MOJICITY is based on the concept of such an "unfinished city".
If you say it, it's an eternal beta version.
It doesn't matter if you're inside or outside, it's fun for everyone.
A town where everyone comes and goes and continues to do interesting things.
