Announcement of sponsorship and exhibition of "# Habitual Character Contest 4"

Event

Event to enjoy the charm and individuality of handwritten characters held at the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum (Ueno Park, Taito-ku) from August 5th (Sat) to 12th (Sat), 2023. ” will be sponsored and exhibited.

What is “# Habitual Character Contest 4”?

This is a handwritten character contest that does not require beautiful characters (beautiful characters, block letters). You can participate with your usual handwritten letters like writing in a memo or notebook. The submitted works will be exhibited at the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum, and the general public will be able to visit the venue and appreciate the works.
Now that letters have been digitized, the trend of "beautiful handwriting is no good" is accelerating the shift away from handwriting. The purpose of this Event is to promote diversity and individuality and expand the possibilities of character expression so that you can enjoy Japanese handwriting.

Fontworks supports everyone who values creative expressions and unique identities, and supports the purpose of "# Habitual Character Contest 4", which honors the diversity of characters, and will sponsor and exhibit.
The “Fontworks AI JIMOJI Award” will be established, and the winner will be presented with a “handwritten character clear stamp” as a supplementary prize. Please check Event details page for information on how to participate in the peculiar character contest.
