Fontworks and Monotype have partnered with the no-code web production platform Universal Design to make 548 fonts available through their web font service FONTPLUS. A special campaign will also be held to commemorate this partnership.
Fontworks Inc. (Head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Hisahiro Shimizu, hereinafter referred to as Fontworks) and Monotype Co., Ltd. (Head office: Minato-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Fuminori Sato, hereinafter referred to as Monotype), the Japanese subsidiary of Monotype Imaging Inc. of the United States, have linked their web font service "FONTPLUS" to "STUDIO," a no-code web production platform operated by Universal Design Co., Ltd. (Head office: Universal Design-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Yutaka Ishii).
Through this collaboration, 548 fonts provided by FONTPLUS are now available on Universal Design.
The fonts provided include Monotype's Japanese font "Tazugane Gothic", the Western font "Helvetica Now", and Fontworks' Japanese font "Fontworks Tsukushi Gothic", which are representative of both Monotype and Fontworks. High-quality fonts and a wide range of options will help improve the design quality and uniqueness of your website.

Post your favorite font and preferences on X with the hashtag "I want to talk about my favorite font" and the site URL, and 10 people will be selected at random to win ST Universal Design IO and Fontworks goods.
Campaign 2: "Fontworks LETS" trial campaign
During the campaign period, 100 people who sign up for a ST Universal Design IO paid plan will be entered into a drawing to win a free Fontworks LETS coupon (3 months) for the annual flat-rate font service "LETS Leading Edge Type Solution."
Fontworks LETS is a service that allows you to use Fontworks fonts in design tools such as Figma and XD. By using it together with Universal Design, it becomes easier to select fonts and consider designs for your website.
