An inclusive design approach that pursues readability for everyone

"Inclusive design font (ID font)" for the elderly and visually impaired (weak eyesight), which we started providing from March 2023.
Fontworks has been working on the development of Universal Design fonts with improved readability, visibility, and distinguishability. Based on the idea of providing fonts, we are working on the development of ID fonts.

When I asked Mr. Akira Tsuda of the Development Department, who has been involved in research and development, in detail about the background of this initiative, I could see the depth of the true pursuit of "readability."
