Learn font terms related to the shape of letters

A series by Fontworks' veteran engineer, nicknamed "Nushi", and Ken, a new employee, learning from scratch "Font Mechanisms". Part 2 introduces somewhat confusing font terminology.

The difference between ``character shape'' and ``style'', and the important ``original characters'' and ``variant characters'' in handling kanji. I will explain the terms related to "character shape" that I want to understand firmly.
