What Fontworks can do

What Fontworks can do to realize a sustainable and better world is to "expand the future possibilities of children as much as possible." After repeated examinations among the project members, one answer was derived.
When I learned the concept of SDGs, the underlying feeling was that I wanted to help people in need. We strongly sympathized with it, and as Fontworks, we discussed how to help people in need.

Today's children will play an active role in the future.
And only with the future in which they will play an active role will the fonts we create shine.
Pursuing the possibilities of characters (fonts) beyond the role of information transmission-Children who will play an active role in the future in order to further accelerate what Fontworks has been working on so far. I want to expand the possibilities.
Having come to that idea, we decided to support our children.

Future children that Fontworks thinks

Until now, Fontworks has continued to provide fonts to everyone and has them used in various designs. I think fonts and designs are inseparable.
Therefore, we decided to support "children involved in design". I would like to help children design a better future.

Conclusion also project

At that time, I had a connection with a non-profit organization, Children's Design Class. In the children's design class, efforts are being made to support children's independence through design.
I heard that children who go to the facility with various circumstances enjoy lessons every day with the aim of being able to convey themselves through design. The more I knew about the situation of such children, the stronger I was wondering if I could support the children's lesson opportunities.
Fontworks, a company that provides fonts, has created a new font pack that can support children with the cooperation of the Children's Design Class. The symbol marks and character illustrations for each pack were made by children attending the children's design class.

The sales of the support for applying for this completed pack will be used to support the future of children. In addition, the fonts provided by the font pack are universal design (Universal Design) fonts that combine readability, visibility, distinctiveness, and aesthetics.
We have adopted a license format as the form of provision.
By using fonts in your work, we will realize a universal society and a better future for children. The "Musubimo" project is a project that connects people with "gentle characters".
